Dev-C 4 Dev-C is a full-featured integrated development environment (IDE), which is able to create Windows or console-based C/C programs using the Mingw compiler system (version MSVCRT 2.95.2-1 included with this package), or the Cygwin compiler. Developer mode lets you sideload apps, and also run apps from Visual Studio in debug mode. By default, you can only install Universal Windows Platform (UWP) apps from the Microsoft Store. Changing these settings to use developer features can change the level of security of your device. A huge improvement could be achieved just by changing the #FFFFFF background color for something like #F0F0F0, which requires minimum effort but has great impact after a few hours of usage.Also, this would not bother any light-theme lovers! I know this is not a dark-theme at all, but it's a nearly-effortless way of reducing eye-strain for the users without having to fully support a 2nd theme.

However, Microsoft is adding a dark mode to Windows 10. So it would be nice if LibreOffice could have a dark mode that would be turned on when enabling dark mode in Windows 10.

You may enable dark theme in Settings or the Command Menu.

Set up dark theme from Settings

  1. Click Customize And Control DevTools.. and then select Settings. You may also open Settings by pressing F1.

  1. On the Preferences pane, under Appearance, click on the Theme drop-down, and select Dark.
